Built to a high specification, this spacious air conditioned villa is overlooking the coast in Herradura which is about a 10 minute drive from Nerja and Alumencar.

Furnished to a high standard, you enter the villa on the top level with large open plan lounge/diner and kitchen which is fully equipped with all mod cons, including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven/hob, and microwave.
Seating in lounge for 10 plus with satelite tv and patio doors leading to terrace with wonderful views over Herradura town and sea. Steps lead down to ground level where there is the swimming pool and gardens.

There is also a self contained apartment with patio doors leading on to further terraces and the pool area. The apartment has a large spacious lounge with two bed settees, double bedrooms, ful bathroom and a further kitchen.
The property is accessed by private road 0.5km from main N340 at Almuñecar. Less than hour away from two international airports, Malaga and Granada.

With the extensive ski range of the Sierra Nevada nearby, scuba diving, snorkeling, hang-gliding, kiting, horse riding, water sports, sailing, fishing etc. The beautiful countryside of the Alpajurras, Sierra Nevadas Cerro Gordo, Lanjaron and Lecrin Valley etc. and many fantastic beaches to be discovered. Historic monuments of the Romans, Arabs and Phoenecians and thousands of acres of nature reserves preserving some of the most incredible landscape and coastline in Spain. The list of local activities is endless, summer and winter alike, there is something for everyone. The nearest beach and restaurant is only 5 minutes walk with many more shops and restaurants, bars and beaches only a little further. There is a local and efficient bus service into the main town every 15 minutes. The picturesque 'Marina del Este' is just 10 minutes drive as well as the popular villages of La Herradura and Salobreña. Due to the situation of the villa we would not recommend that it is suitable for toddlers or very small children.

Herradura is a lovely little town with many restaurants and bars - Nerja is about a 5 miin drive which is a popular resort, readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. Nestling in the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow, vehicle restricted, cobbled streets, offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the big resorts further along the coast. With small picturesque bays, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, and its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for all seasons, especially for families and the more mature holiday maker. Local Excursions The Nerja Caves, one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions, are well worth a visit. A extensive network of fascinating underground caverns with the World's biggest stalactites, plus an auditorium and stage where the annual music and arts festival takes place. Nearby is Maro, a picturesque village with panoramic views across the sea and a small, secluded beach invisible from the cliff top. The mountains shelter many small attractive villages, notably Frigiliana with its restored Roman town and narrow vehicle-free cobbled streets. Further afield is the historic city of Grenada with its famous Alhambra Palace (pre-booking advised). Malaga and beyond to Puerto Banus also provide a great day out, as do visits to Mijas, Antequara and the El Torcal National Park. Nearest Airport: Malaga 70KM
